SCHNECKSVILLE, PA., March 6, 2025 – Sustainable Energy Fund (SEF) released a request for proposal (RFP) for projects that will support the deployment of circular energy.
Circular energy refers to energy production, consumption, and waste management, which are designed to minimize environmental impact and maximize resource efficiency. Examples of circular energy include biodigesters, which convert organic waste into biogas, and agriphotovoltaics, which combines agriculture with solar production, allowing both land uses to coexist.
SEF’s financing request is for a 7% loan with flexibility to meet project needs while assessing risk. The anticipated financial range is $50,000-$1 million.
The deadline for receipt of proposals is 4 p.m. (EST) on May 15, 2025.
