Creating a Lasting Impact

Regenerative Energy Initiative (formerly known as Sustainable Energy Fund) was established in 1999 through a settlement approved by the Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission during the state’s electric deregulation proceedings. Since then, the organization has been a leading financier of energy projects and has expanded its services to advance a regenerative energy future.

Each year, members of the Board of Directors complete a conflict of interest statement.
