Regenerative Energy Initiative (formerly Sustainable Energy Fund) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit working to advance a regenerative energy future—where energy systems actively renew, revitalize and regenerate environmental, economic, and social systems. We are dedicated to breaking down financial, educational, and regulatory barriers to a regenerative energy future. We operate as a financially independent nonprofit enterprise.
Since 1999, we have served communities across Pennsylvania by helping energy users overcome financial, educational, and regulatory barriers. Founded through a Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission settlement during electric deregulation, our organization has grown into a trusted partner in advancing energy solutions that create lasting impact.
