SCHNECKSVILLE, Pa. — Regenerative Energy Initiative (formerly Sustainable Energy Fund) announced that registration is now officially open for Energypath 2026, the region’s leading conference exploring the future of energy, innovation, and resilient communities, taking place July 16, 2026 in Bethlehem at Moravian University’s Conference Center.
As artificial intelligence, electrification, infrastructure modernization, and energy security rapidly reshape the global economy, Energypath 2026 will bring together leaders from across the energy, technology, education, government, research and workforce sectors for forward-thinking conversations about the future.
This year’s conference will feature internationally recognized futurist and applied foresight expert Simon Anderson as keynote speaker. Anderson is an executive advisor and founder of Venture Foresight, where he helps organizations and leaders navigate emerging technologies, rapid change and future trends. Known for translating complex ideas into practical strategies, Anderson has delivered keynote presentations across four continents and has become a leading voice on innovation, artificial intelligence, resilience and strategic foresight.
In addition to Anderson’s keynote presentation, Energypath 2026 will feature expert panels, educational sessions and discussions focused on some of the most pressing energy challenges and opportunities facing the nation today. Topics throughout the conference will include AI-driven energy demand, digital and smart grid technologies, energy storage innovation, Small Modular Reactors (SMRs), renewable energy advancement, workforce development and the future of resilient energy systems.
The conference will also explore Pennsylvania’s historic role in powering America’s growth and the evolving transformation of coal communities through environmental recovery, economic revitalization, and emerging energy technologies. Sessions including “The Next 250 Years” and rapid-fire “Lightning Talks” will encourage attendees to think boldly about the technologies, investments and leadership shaping the next generation of energy infrastructure.
“Energypath 2026 is about more than discussing energy — it’s about exploring the technologies, ideas, and leadership that will define America’s next 250 years,” said John Costlow, President and CEO of Regenerative Energy Initiative, as well as regenerative energy author. “From artificial intelligence and advanced nuclear technologies to grid modernization and regional revitalization, this year’s conference is designed to spark meaningful conversations about where we go next.”
Energypath has become one of the most recognized sustainable energy conferences in the region, connecting professionals, policymakers, educators, students, innovators and community leaders working to advance resilient and regenerative energy solutions.
The 2026 conference will feature keynote presentations, networking opportunities, technology showcases, collaborative discussions and educational programming designed to inspire innovation and strengthen partnerships across industries and communities.
