Sustainable Energy Fund Announces 2025 Energypath Science Fair

SCHNECKSVILLE, Pa. (Feb. 4, 2025) — Sustainable Energy Fund (SEF) will host the Energypath Science Fair for middle and high school students on May 10, 2025, at the Net Zero Energy building in Schnecksville, Pa.

The fair welcomes projects focused on energy efficiency, conservation, and renewable energy. Previous student projects have included “Water Effect on Solar Cell Productivity,” “Harvesting Electricity From Waste,” and “What Is the Best Way to Insulate Beehives During Winter?”

There is no fee to apply, and cash prizes will be awarded: $1,250 for first place, $750 for second and $250 for third.

The science fair aims to foster teamwork, responsibility, and problem-solving skills. Participants will design small-scale projects that address real-world energy challenges and have the potential to contribute meaningful solutions. The event also introduces students to potential career paths in STEM fields.
