Internship Opportunity with Sustainable Energy Fund

Job Summary:
The intern will participate as a member of our multi-disciplinary team executing programs that advance the mission of the Sustainable Energy Fund. In this position, you will assist with planning educational and financial programs. This is a great opportunity to learn about renewable energy, energy conservation, financing clean energy, and general program and event management.


Essential Job Functions:
• Attend and participate in SEF staff meetings and client meetings.
• Conduct research and gather information on sustainable energy topics
• Work collaboratively with staff to implement assigned programs; this may include marketing and evaluation
• Introduction to Salesforce campaigns, reports, and data entry
• Support staff at public activities.
• Assist with managing webinars and on-site event production and clean up for events as necessary
• Represent SEF in a positive, energetic manner

Qualifications:
• Working towards a college degree
• Interest in education and event planning and/or sustainable energy
• Excellent oral and written communication and customer service skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills both in person and by phone, with high professionalism
• Knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office Suite
• Creative, strategic, and analytical thinker with a strong detail orientation
• Ability to research, compile, and present data as tasks arise
• Ability to work on and produce required results on multiple projects with little or no close supervision
• Valid Driver’s License
