Julian Boggs, Policy Director at Keystone Energy Efficiency Alliance, and Abby Johnson, President at Abacus Property Solutions, will be two of the speakers at Energypath 2019 on Thursday, July 25 at DeSales University. Energypath 2019: Financing the Energy Future will be hosted at the Gerald White Conference Center at DeSales University in Center Valley, Pennsylvania on Thursday, July 25, 2019. Energypath is the region’s largest sustainable energy event attracting industry professionals, policymakers and academia throughout the region and across the United States. Mr. Boggs and Ms. Johnson will be presenting a breakout session about the basics of Commercial Property Assessed Clean Energy (C-PACE). The session will include a discussion of how the program started in PA, what municipalities have adopted C-PACE and details of the PA Program Guidelines. Both Mr. Boggs and Ms. Johnson are currently working with Sustainable Energy Fund to develop the C-PACE program in Pennsylvania.
KEEA Policy Director Julian Boggs is responsible for developing and advancing KEEA’s policy agenda at the state legislature. He helped lead a coalition of business, labor, and environmental advocates to pass SB 234, legislation enabling Commercial Property Assessed Clean Energy in Pennsylvania, and is a leading voice in Harrisburg on energy efficiency policy. He has been an advocate for clean energy and energy efficiency policies since 2009. Abby Johnson, a LEED AP, has specialized in bringing PACE financing to markets across the US for the past five years. In addition to this session, Ms. Johnson will be featured in several other C-PACE related sessions during the conference, including the Keynote Lunch Panel.
