SCHNECKSVILLE, PA, Oct. 18, 2024 – Sustainable Energy Fund (SEF) is accepting applications for the Nonprofit Energy Makeover Contest.
In this contest, the winning nonprofit will receive a free energy efficiency upgrade for their building worth up to $100,000. This program allows a nonprofit to save on utility bills by implementing the upgrades in the free energy makeover and using those savings toward its mission. Upgrades may include insulation, lighting, sealing, water heating, kitchen equipment, HVAC systems, and more.
Applications for the Nonprofit Energy Makeover Contest are open until January 1, 2025, and are reviewed on a rolling basis. To qualify for an application, the organization must have a 501c3 status, own a building, and be in the 29-county PPL Electric Service region.
