Sustainable Energy Fund Announces Energypath 2019 Conference at DeSales University

Sustainable Energy Fund has announced that their annual conference, Energypath, will be hosted at the Gerald White Conference Center at DeSales University in Center Valley, Pennsylvania on Thursday, July 25, 2019. Energypath is the region’s largest sustainable energy event attracting industry professionals, policymakers and academia throughout the region and across the United States. This is the third consecutive year that the conference will be held at DeSales University.

DeSales has put in place a number of green initiatives to educate their campus community, conserve energy and natural resources and to consider environmental impact in the master planning process. For more information on DeSales, visit www.desales.edu.

“We are very excited to announce that this year’s Energypath Conference will once again be held at DeSales University,” said John Costlow, president and CEO of Sustainable Energy Fund. “We look forward to engaging Energypath attendees in discussions about financing options for renewable energy and energy efficiency.”

The Energypath conference will feature a keynote dinner, seminars, an expo and a science fair for middle and high school students. Additionally, Energypath will host pre-conference energy camps on the topics of Solar PV, Biomass, Introduction to Renewable Energy, and Policy & Regulatory Impacts on Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy. Through a combination of classroom and hands-on learning, these camps will provide attendees with a deeper understanding of sustainable energy technologies. Registration for the conference is set to open in April 2019.

While industry professionals will need to wait to register for the conference, applications are currently being accepted for scholarships to attend the event. Sustainable Energy Fund is proud to provide scholarships to students and educators on a first come, first serve basis to attend the pre-conference energy camps and the Energypath 2019 conference. A scholarship covers meals and housing for the week of the event, participation in one energy camp and admission to the conference and keynote dinner. Energy camps will take place Monday, July 22 through Wednesday, July 24, 2019 and the conference will be held on Thursday, July 25, 2019.

Energypath 2019 is presented by Sustainable Energy Fund. The goal of Energypath is to increase the knowledge of and passion for sustainable energy in the leaders of today and tomorrow. This year’s conference theme, Financing the Energy Future, will feature both energy and financial experts who will present financing options that support a growing shift towards renewable energy and energy efficiency.
