The Sustainable Energy Fund (SEF) is proud to participate in the Capital Area Science and Engineering Fair (CASEF), an ISEF-affiliated regional science fair that showcases original research and engineering projects from middle and high school students across the region. CASEF provides students with the opportunity to present their work, engage with STEM professionals, and be evaluated on scientific inquiry, engineering design, creativity, and communication skills.
SEF will attend the fair to promote EnergyPath, our career awareness and workforce development initiative, and to highlight our middle and high school science fair programs, which support hands-on learning and student exploration of real-world challenges. Through conversations with students, families, and educators, SEF aims to encourage interest in careers related to sustainable and regenerative energy, environmental science, engineering, and sustainability-focused innovation.
As part of our participation, SEF is honored to present a Special SEF Award to a student whose project demonstrates outstanding scientific rigor, creativity, and a meaningful connection to sustainable and/or regenerative energy or sustainability principles. This award reflects SEF’s ongoing commitment to recognizing student achievement and supporting the next generation of thinkers and problem-solvers working toward a more resilient and sustainable future.
SEF is pleased to support CASEF’s mission to advance STEM education and celebrate student excellence, and we congratulate all participants for their hard work and dedication.
